Our story

Founded in 1997 as a modest outpatient clinic on Lenin Street, Dakshin Women Care Hospital and Fertility Center has steadily evolved with a commitment to delivering compassionate and accessible women’s healthcare. Relocating to Subhash Chandra Bose Street in 2000, the center gradually expanded from its modest facade into a small 5-bedded hospital with a minor operation theatre and IVF facilities in 2010.

Driven by a vision to create personalized, patient-centered healthcare, the foundation for the present-day hospital was laid in 2017. Established as a state-of-the-art, 30-bedded women’s care and fertility center with four operation theatres, five floors, advanced diagnostic facilities, and a full-fledged IVF unit, the hospital officially opened its doors in 2019. Under the leadership of Dr. Nirmala Babu, Dakshin has grown into a trusted healthcare destination for women and families across Puducherry, built on values of excellence, compassion, and community care.
